BF3 PRIVATE SERVER FOR SoF? YES OR NO?

SoF Membership....

SoF's Private BF3 Server:  Keep it.... or Let It Go?

With the continuing issues with BF4 and as we wait for fixes and patches to get BF4 working as advertised... should SoF continue the lease of our BF3 Private Server, so the members have somewhere to play a working BF3 game?

EA and DICE are under immense legal pressure and Class Action lawsuits from company investors and customers over BF4's game breaking issues.  DICE will either have to fix BF4 and get the game working correctly and make game changes to at least bring BF4 up to the standard of BF3... or EA will be forced to refund customers back the cost of the game and Premium services.  This will be devastating financially to both companies.  At that point, EA and DICE will have to recall the game for a complete remake for a 2nd future release of BF4.

BF4 game play on the BF4 game servers is declining rapidly and EA's Battlelog forums have players stating they are leaving the game and moving on from Battlefield.  Reading Battlelog posts is very depressing.  At that point... sales of a 2nd BF4 will be negligible and could damage the Battlefield name for years to come... much like EA's Medal of Honor name is now.

Attendance here at the SoF website and other numerous Battlefield Platoon and Clan websites is falling off rapidly due to BF4's issues.  The times I get on BF4 for games or on the Test Range... I'm having real problems with the game.

So.... does our SoF membership want to continue our BF3 Private Server... so we have somewhere to play a working Battlefield game... or just put activities on hold for DICE to get BF4 working, most likely later in the Spring of 2014?  I don't see BF4, with all it's bugs and issues, getting repaired and working for several months now.  Similar to the problems BF3 had in 2011 at it's launch.  BF4 is many times more complicated than BF3 was and could take even longer to repair.

Sound off your opinion on our SoF BF3 Private Server.  Keep it.... or Let It Go?

Stop giving them money until they start giving us what they promised!
